Figure 1: It is truly said “one picture is worth a thousand words.” An image of pneumomediastinum is no exception of this statement. These photos were taken during a video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for massive pneumothorax with associated pneumomediastinum. There are so many published documents of radiological figures of pneumomediastinum; however, to the best of our knowledge, this is the first surgical image of pneumomediastinum
